Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) has issued an employment notification for the recruitment of 136 Mining Mate C, Apprentice, and other vacancies.

1. Graduate Operational Trainee (Chemical)
Number of posts: 4

Educational Qualification: B.Sc. (Physics / Chemistry) - 03 years with minimum 60% marks for UR candidates and 55% marks for SC / ST candidates. Preference will be given to candidates with computer knowledge.

2. Mining Mate-C
Number of posts: 52

Educational Qualification: Intermediate with Unrestricted Mining Mate Certificate of Competition issued by DGMS. Candidates should have 05 (Five) years experience in Mining Mate in Underground Mechanized Metal Mines. Candidates should be able to read / write and speak Hindi / local language.

3. Boiler-cum-Compressor Attendant-A
Number of posts: 3

Educational Qualification: Matriculation with first class boiler attendant certificate given by the government board of any state or union territory. 01 years experience as a first class certificate of single boiler with steam pipes of any type or capacity of two or more boilers in batteries or several different boilers. There should be interaction with the operation of the oil fired boiler.

4. Winding Engine Driver-B
Number of posts: 14

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. The candidate should have a First Class Wind Engine Engine Driver Certificate obtained from the Directorate General of Mines Safety. The candidate should have more than 03 years of work experience as a winding engine driver in metal / coal mines, of which at least one year experience on 100 HP winder or more.

5. Blaster-B
Number of posts: 4

Educational Qualification: Matriculation with Certificate of Merit of Unrestricted Blaster issued by DGMS. Candidate should have 03 years experience as a blaster in underground metal mines. In explosive electrical blasting, candidates must interact well.

6. Apprentice (mining mate)
Number of posts: 53

Educational Qualification: Intermediate with minimum 60% marks for UR / OBC (NCL) candidates and 55% marks for SC / ST candidates.

7. Apprentice (Laboratory Assistant)
Number of posts: 6

Educational Qualification: Matriculation with minimum 60% marks for UR / OBC (NCL) candidates and 55% marks for SC / ST candidates.

Application fee: Candidates belonging to general / OBC (creamy layer and non creamy layer) categories are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.500 / - (Rs. Hundred only). SC / ST / PWD / Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. The application fee will be paid through online mode ie Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.
